This month’s Voice of the Microsoft Partner (VOMP) brought valuable insights into the evolving Microsoft ecosystem and how partners can strategically align for success in the year ahead. With expert perspectives from Andres OcegueraPhil Kent, and Josh Rogers, the session delivered actionable strategies and updates tailored for partners navigating Microsoft incentives, Co-op investments, and emerging programs.

Andres Oceguera: Foundational Steps for Success

Andres Oceguera started the session by focusing on understanding the foundations of partner success within the Microsoft ecosystem. His message was clear: aligning your approach with Microsoft’s frameworks is crucial to maximizing available resources. Andres encouraged partners to analyze their current performance, identify gaps in their strategy, and leverage Microsoft incentives to reinvest in their businesses. This foundational roadmap set the tone for the deep dives that followed.


Philip Kent: Optimizing Co-op Investments

Phil Kent provided an in-depth look into Microsoft’s Co-op programs, emphasizing how partners can optimize their investments. His discussion focused on aligning Co-op spending with business goals, ensuring funds are used strategically to drive growth. From understanding eligible activities to executing them effectively, Philip’s guidance empowered attendees to see Co-op as a growth enabler rather than a compliance requirement. His advice was practical and actionable, offering clarity on how to maximize every dollar.


Josh Rogers: Unveiling New Opportunities

Josh Rogers delivered a compelling segment packed with updates and new opportunities for partners. He broke down the key pillars of Co-op, highlighting Microsoft’s intention to encourage reinvestment into partner businesses. Josh also revealed exciting news about upcoming programs launching in January, including significant discounts on enterprise suites and Windows 365 and updates on Copilot-specific programs.


One standout moment was Josh’s discussion about the Copilot Briefings program, where partners can earn $100 per session to deliver customer presentations. This initiative provides financial incentives and helps partners build their pipeline while engaging directly with clients. The emphasis on achieving solution designations and specializations—particularly in areas like modern work—was another key takeaway, showcasing how these milestones unlock a wealth of resources and opportunities.


Looking Ahead

The session concluded with a shared commitment to partner success in 2025. Attendees were encouraged to take advantage of the numerous available programs, tools, and support and reach out for guidance when needed.
